The most important item left out is what will people be forced to pay just to get to work?
The FSEIS says about $2000, but ignores the previous project's statement that a similar toll price may have to be doubled to extract enough money. And a later revelation was that the recent FSEIS estimate has been increased.
.
Then there is the issue of the actual value of the time saved. If it saves a commuter only ONE MINUTE per crossing, than that $3.55 toll becomes $213/hour saved.

Everyone in Oregon and Washington should read this article about replacing the interstate I5 bridge. This is project is already a boondoggle making contractors rich. And it’s going to end up looking like that one mile of high speed rail in California. Don’t believe me? READ! I hope we never replace it until it falls into the Columbia.

It will likely cost at least twice the $15 billion by the time it's done. The scum behind these projects CHRONICALLY understate actual costs in a bogus effort to make it attempt to be more "palatable."

Since the first CRC scam, I have ben hammering it with the now obvious claim that first, this isn't a bridge project: it's a light rail project.

Years ago, the Oregon Supreme Court said as much.

Second, the reasons the CRC scam was killed, INCLUDING their WRITTEN POLICY of avoiding and ignoring public input have not changed.

We do not WANT this TriMet bail out scam.

We do not NEED this Trimet bail out scam

We cannot AFFORD this TriMet bail out scam.

We are not INTERESTED in paying ever-increasing, lifetime tolls for this TriMet bail out.

Like Sound Transit, they have lied about everything that CAN be lied about.

Costs
Ridership projections
Construction Timelines
Distance

For the liar's blueprint, one need only follow the Sound Transit pattern of lying to those paying for THAT insanity.

Their $53 billion expansion scam is now almost $90 billion AND it's for a much smaller expansion than promised... and those paying for it will have zero say in that disaster's cost overruns and will get to pay for it through increased property taxes.

This rip off is governmental leprosy, designed to benefit the few against the repeatedly expressed will of the people who are not interested ibn this never-ending scam, that they know will infest Clark County like a never-ending fungus at a horrific cost that will NEVER be worth it.
