This was a great read and 100% factual, which is baffling. Why do we all seem to be doomed to repeat history? Personally, I hope that America doesn’t find this so-called “joy” in the upcoming election.

I’m not sure why this paper decided to publish a piece of secondhand basic history that gets so many things wrong about 1930s Germany just so the writer can make a political point that has no basis in reality. There was no such thing as the Labour Party, Republican Party, or “Socialist Democrats” in Germany. Any “news source with integrity” wouldn’t have run this piece, and even if they did, should’ve run it by an actual editor.
