They were bussing in students from all over the county and you might be okay with 17, 16 and 15 year olds and younger making medical decisions via pure pressure from other students and teachers but most parents don’t agree and want to exercise their legal right of consent.

It feels weird to blame this on democrats. Also I laughed when he felt high schoolers cannot make their own medical choices. I had politics that were different from my dad and my dad wasn’t scared to just let me develop into an individual. I even convinced him on a couple things. And he told me to beware of the green anarchists in turn and I gotta thank him cause I could have fallen.

Oregon isn’t arresting the people they should cause they don’t have enough public defenders to cary out justice under their state constitution and it is all in the hands of only one person, the Chief Justice. You should probably look into their situation with that and Bundy standoff types and Green Anarchists (they are primitivists) a little more deeply.

Also no bail stuff feels advanced… but it works fine. These people weren’t charged with a crime so… Vancouver has a lot of issues… we do need to expand our jail but I think we need to politically convince everyone that we aren’t just gonna arrest people for no reasons… people lost a lot of trust.

I read the Sample Ballot, and posted a week ago, to pass the word “VOTE NO” straight across, on ALL those dolled up money-drain Ammendments! Take heed citizens.

Hugely, my biggest concern. Many dont know this, but did you know Sheriffs have declarations of responsibiity all across America, that is first and foremost to ‘Protect the people from tyranny, should the government try to usurp the power of the people?
They are bound FIRST, to uphold Our CONSTITUTION; not to be diminished in their duties in any way. AND if I understand properly, they can deputize citizens to help them! Our Deputy Sheriffs are OUR LAST BASTION!
WE DO NOT need any more behind closed doors appointees! Oregons Kate Brown was one of those! How did that work out for anyone?

So, are you saying it’s justified what happened two weeks ago to mislead and withhold important information from the public because of the mental health and drug issues at the Jail? It was your question that Kathleen Otto answered saying, “We’re not going to rush this.” When did she start conversations with the future Jail Services team? How can you say that skipping the normal process of hiring isn’t “rushing” this which was clearly her plan and the wheels were in motion. Produce evidence to support both how it’s been in the works, beyond casual conversation and evidence that her and other Councilor statements were true about this.
