Plan for lane closures on northbound I-5 East Fork Lewis River Bridge for annual inspection Tuesday

LA CENTER – Travelers who use Interstate 5 in Clark County should plan for delays.

On Tuesday, May 26, the Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will inspect the northbound East Fork Lewis River Bridge on I-5 just north of La Center. These annual inspections help keep the bridges safe and in good condition for all travelers while extending the structure’s lifespan.

What to expectTuesday, May 26:

• The right lane of northbound I-5 on the East Fork Lewis River Bridge (milepost 17.5 to 18.5) will close from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Drivers should slow down through the work zone, stay alert and follow directional signs.
