On Tuesday, May 26, the Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will inspect the northbound East Fork Lewis River Bridge on I-5 just north of La Center. These annual inspections help keep the bridges safe and in good condition for all travelers while extending the structure’s lifespan.
What to expect Tuesday, May 26:
- The right lane of northbound I-5 on the East Fork Lewis River Bridge (milepost 17.5 to 18.5) will close from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Drivers should slow down through the work zone, stay alert and follow directional signs.
