RIDGEFIELD – Travelers who use Interstate 5 in northern Clark County should expect delays.
On Wednesday, May 13, the Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crew will close the left lane of southbound I-5 to repair sections of damaged guardrail south of Ridgefield.
Guardrails help improve safety by keeping vehicles from going off the road or crossing into oncoming traffic during a crash.
What to expect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 13:
- The left lane of southbound I-5 will close near Exit 11 for State Route 502 and Battle Ground.
During lane closure, travelers should slow down, stay alert and follow directional signs.
