Last night was interesting. Around 1:30 AM it sounded like we had a 707 on approach for a landing on Briarwood Drive. The roar of the wind coming was impressive. The power went off shortly after it started, and seeing how extensive the damage was I'm not surprised the lights went out. Amazing how utterly dark it gets when the power fails. Luckily the power was restored here by 4 AM.

Most of Cascade Park is blessed with underground power lines. We don't have power lines coming down in extreme weather, or when some drunk takes out a power pole. Unfortunately the lines that feed in are on poles.

Well Done to Clark Public Utilities crews who are still out there working to get the lights back on as quickly as possible.
