BGSD has already told some assistant principals that they will not be in their present positions when the next school year starts. Also, BGSD and BGEA have started negotiations for a new contract for the teachers. Anyone remember what happened back in the late summer of 2018? Remember the huge raises that they got then after going on strike and delaying school? Where's the money going to come from to pay the teachers? How many support staff (aides, maintenance, transportation, janitors, etc...) are going to be cut to keep the BGEA and the staff in the district office "employees" and happy? How much longer to students have to go to schools with leaking roofs and bad AC units?
