Those were good times, when individual privacy and the right to choose were respected. The current rhetoric and censorship is so reminiscent of Aldous Huxley’s statement that:
“The purpose of propaganda is to make one set of people forget that other sets of people are human.”
It also brings to mind what Abraham Lincoln said (long, long ago):
“Democracy is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
Lately it seems that mandates plus censorship govern what people are allowed to do, say, or think. Depressing and oppressive? For many it most certainly is. On the positive side, however, it will make clear-minded people even more determined to stand firm, take back their rights, and thereby become far more resilient.

Remember the days when we were allowed to think for ourselves and make our own vaccine choices? And for our kids? Nobody questioned that freedom. They who benefit from this both financially and power-wise absolutely do use fear to control people. And its working!! Unvaccinated people (remember when your medical history of vaccines was considered private?) are villified, demonized and shamed. Such good times.
