Vancouver house fire displaces family

There were no injuries reported and no one was home at the time of the fire, the home suffered extensive heat damage throughout

VANCOUVER — A Vancouver house fire displaced a family Wednesday (Feb. 12).

Shortly before 11:30 a.m., Vancouver fire was sent to 5200 NE 85th Ave. to respond to a report of a house fire. When they arrived, crews found fire showing from the front of the two-story duplex on the first floor.

There were no injuries reported and no one was home at the time of the fire, the home suffered extensive heat damage throughout. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross for housing.
