Driver shot near ilani Casino in Ridgefield
RIDGEFIELD — An adult male was the victim of a shooting Friday morning near the ilani Resort & Casino in Ridgefield.
At 9:45 a.m. Friday, a patrol deputy in the parking lot of the ilani Casino, located at 1 Cowlitz Way, Ridgefield, heard squealing tires and a crash on the frontage road leading to the casino.

During an Investigation, it was discovered that the driver, of the crashed vehicle, a silver Chevrolet pickup truck — was suffering from a gunshot wound to the pelvic area.
The gunshot wound victim was transported to an area hospital, his status and medical prognosis in unknown at this time.
Detectives with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit are on scene and investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting. No further information is available at this time.
