WASHOUGAL — The city of Washougal recently announced that it is launching a new website.
The city website, https://cityofwashougal.us, just underwent a six month redesign process by CivicPlus, the leading government website provider. The website now has several new functions as well as a cleaner, easier layout to navigate. Â
Citizens and their local government will be able to communicate, monitor and report through some of the new featured modules:
- A mobile optimized design that ensures citizens can easily navigate and interact with content from any desktop computer, smartphone, or tablet, anytime and anywhere.
- Alert Center functionality that allows website administrators to alert citizens with time-sensitive information and instructions using multiple channels, including the website homepage, social media and email.
- Personalized logins allow citizens to create an account associated with the website so that it becomes a personalized tool to download forms, submit applications and permits, submit and track inquiries, comment on stories and topics of interest and further engage in public dialog.
With the new website the city of Washougal will be able to increase its community engagement and enhance the communication between residents and local government.
