56th annual Vancouver Fireworks Spectacular gears up for the Fourth of July

The family-friendly tradition is celebrating America’s freedom with the largest fireworks show in the Pacific Northwest

VANCOUVER — The Historic Trust and city of Vancouver announce the 56-day countdown to the 56th Annual Vancouver Fireworks Spectacular presented by Columbia Credit Union.  This family-friendly tradition is celebrating America’s freedom with the largest fireworks show in the Pacific Northwest at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The fireworks show will begin at 10:05 p.m. (PST) and will be live-streamed by KGW-TV. The public is invited to come find their spot to enjoy the festivities at 4 p.m.  The Bull – 98.7 KUPL will be providing music. Fireworks will be launched from the historic Pearson Air Field.

This year, The Historic Trust is bringing back food and entertainment in the form of food trucks and intimate local music performances throughout the evening, leading up to the fireworks show. Festival food favorites like elephant ears, shaved ice, middle-eastern and barbecue will be sold. Performers include Mo Phillips (funky kid jams) https://www.mophillips.com/, the Woodin Creek Band (soul meets blues) https://www.facebook.com/woodincreekband/ and Yuma de Cuba (salsa) https://www.ethanmaier.com/epk.  Stages will be placed at various location on the property, as well as roaming entertainment.  C-TRAN will again provide free shuttle service to and from the event beginning at 6 p.m.
