Pin-ups on Tour to be in Vancouver to honor veterans

Guests are encouraged to wear vintage clothing for vaudeville show

Pin-ups on Tour will be visiting Vancouver on Saturday night in an effort to recreate the fun of vaudevillian theaters during and post-World War II.

The evening will feature dancing showgirls, comedy, variety acts, lounge singers, vintage tray girls, and more. The idea to make guests feel like they have stepped into the 1940s again. 

Oh, and guests are encouraged to wear vintage clothing.

This year’s event takes place at American Legion Post 176 at 14011 NE 20th Ave. in Vancouver. Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday, with the show to begin at 7 p.m.

Active duty military and veterans are free. For other guests, cost is $20 if purchased online, or $25 at the door. There is an added cost for reserved seating. For more ticket information, go to www.pinupsontour.com 

The mission of the tour is to make veterans smile, according to a release from the company. 

Pin-ups on Tour started in 2015 and has performed in 45 states. Beyond their shows, they also go to local VA hospitals to spread goodwill.
