Throughout the afternoon caregivers will place paper bags containing LED candles along the garden path outside PeaceHealth Southwest’s Firstenburg Tower. A number of bags will be illuminated by blue candles in remembrance of patients lost to COVID-19. Caregivers are invited to write messages on their bag before placing it along the garden path.

All bags are expected to be placed and illuminated by 9 p.m., creating what is expected to be an eye-opening display for our caregivers and community to enjoy. The luminary lighting event is one of several celebrations this week at PeaceHealth Southwest in recognition of National Hospital & Healthcare Workers Week.
