The Nautilus Shop Fun Run and Special Guest Rick Muhr

Who: Rick Muhr, marathon coach, 32-time marathon runner, Olympic Torch Bearer, and former Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man of the Year (full bio below).
What: Rick will be leading a fun run with 5k, 8k & 10k course options for runners of all levels, as well as sharing the best practices of successful running he has learned in his 43 years of running and 22 years of coaching over 20,000 runners. Muhr will also have a personal appearance at The Nautilus Shop, where he will provide running tips and coaching to attendees.

Rick Muhr is a 32-time marathon finisher, ultra-marathoner, renowned Boston Marathon running coach and Octane Fitness® Zero Runner endurance and running coach. In his 43-year career, he’s completed 32 marathons—with a personal best of 2:33:13—and was ranked fifth in the United States 100K ultramarathon after running 8:41:47 in the National Championships in 1989. Muhr has served as head coach for the Massachusetts Chapter of the Leukemia Society, where he helped raise more than $65 million for leukemia research. As a result, Muhr was selected as a torch bearer in the Olympic Torch Relay for the 2004 Olympic Games. In 2009, Muhr co-founded the Marathon Coalition, where he has coached more than 20,000 runners.
