Right Tree, Right Place: Choosing Trees for Small Yards

April 12 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm UTC-7

Realize the full potential of smaller yards to maximize the economic, social, and environmental benefits that trees provide. This TreeTalk workshop will teach participants how to choose the best trees for their site and which to avoid, where and where not to plant to avoid conflicts to infrastructure, and basic care techniques for new and established trees.

Through mindful tree selection and placement, landscape stewards can increase the value of their home, reduce energy costs, manage stormwater on-site, and more, helping themselves, their families, and the entire neighborhood.

The workshop will take place in the Oak Room at Marshall Community Center. Signs will be posted to guide attendees to the correct room.

Accessible by the Vine and Bus Lines 6, 25, 30, 32, 37, 39, and 47. For more directions, visit C-Tran.com
