Kenny Loggins and his upbeat tempo will make their way to ilani’s Cowlitz Ballroom this April. The energetic performance is set to start Thursday, April 25, 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 1, 10 a.m., for $49 and $69 at ilaniresort.com and Ticketmaster.com. The Cowlitz Ballroom transforms into the “Danger Zone” for a night of fun, dancing and musical hits with Loggins.
With a career that has spanned over four decades, Loggins’ music has reached many different avenues and platforms across the global landscape. As the co-owner of the 1979 Grammy award for Song of the Year, Loggins co-wrote “What a Fool Believes” with Michael McDonald. The following year, Loggins was awarded the Grammy award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “This is It.” Much of Loggins’ success in the 1980s stemmed from movie soundtracks; he had smash hit singles in Caddyshack, Footloose and Top Gun. Hits such as, “I’m Alright,” “Footloose” and most notably “Danger Zone” propelled Loggins to timeless stardom.
