Chautauqua: Hands-on History of Washington State

May 4 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC-7

This Historic Trust is offering a free, special two-hour event on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. that will give participants the ability to handle scores of objects, artifacts and documents from our regional history.

Some of the materials included are from Providence Academy, Buffalo Soldiers, Aviation, the Nez Perce, historic figures, health, military, Spruce Mill, Hudson’s Bay, and a few surprises. Some materials are original and some are replicas, but all have permission to be touched and examined by participants with appropriate archival gloves. Extensive research information is available.

All attendees will receive a copy of “Field Findings” to document their explorations. Don’t miss this opportunity to put your hands on some history. Register now – availability to register ends May 1!

We'd love to hear your comments!
