Cascadia Food Festival

Come and taste the region and celebrate the unique ecogastronomy of the area at the annual Cascadia Food Festival hosted by Slow Food Cascadia on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The event will include a Food and Cider Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Old Apple Tree Park, 112 SE Columbia Way, which is free to all ages. Enjoy the food, cider, craft booths and live music.
Attend the Slow Food Summit and help shape the future of the food movement from noon to 6 p.m. at the Historic Hangar on the Fort Vancouver National Historic site – 1115 E. 5th Street. The summit is designed for farmers and producers, Slow Food community leaders and organizational partners.
Round out the event at the Cascadian Luau from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Historic Hangar. Enjoy the unique flavors of the Cascadia region and Hawaiian entertainment.
The event is fiscally sponsored by the Slow Food Southwest Washington chapter and is a partnership between the chapter, the Port of Vancouver, The Tod and Maxine McClaskey Culinary Institute of Clark College, and the City of Vancouver.
