Skyview clinches playoff berth with win over Union

VANCOUVER — Skyview used it’s high-powered offense to roll to a two-touchdown victory over Union Friday to clinch it’s 12th consecutive postseason appearance.

The Storm cruised to a 43-28 win over Union in Greater St. Helens League Class 4A action at McKenzie Stadium.

The Storm improved 2-1 in league play (5-3 overall) and even a loss to Heritage in the final week of the regular season won’t affect Skyview’s hold on the GSHLs’ No. 2 playoff berth.

Battle Ground improved to 2-2 in GSHL action with a 33-7 win over Heritage Friday. The Tigers (6-2 overall) can do no better than a tie with Skyview for the league’s second place spot but the Storm would advance by virtue of its win over Battle Ground this season.

Camas (3-0, 8-0) has wrapped up the GSHL Class 4A title and the league’s No. 1 berth into the postseason.
