La Center finished the high school football regular season with a 40-20 win over Castle Rock Friday in a Trico League game at La Center High School

The Wildcats will enter the postseason as the Class 1A league’s No. 1 seed. La Center won it’s fifth Trico League title in the past six years and ninth in the 18 years since coach John Lambert took the reins of the Wildcats’ program.

La Center will host a crossover playoff game next week against an opponent from the Evergreen Conference. The winner of that game will advance to the 16-team Class 1A state playoffs.
