Barn Party & Ice Cream Social to be held at Rietdyk’s Historic Milk Barn in Ridgefield
RIDGEFIELD — Rep. Liz Pike has invited the public to an old fashioned Barn Party & Ice Cream Social in Ridgefield Thu., Oct. 12, from 4-7 p.m. at Rietdyk’s Historic Milk Barn, located at 512 NW Carty Road, Ridgefield.
The event is a meet and greet ahead of Liz Pike’s 2018 Clark County Council Chair race.
“I’m excited to share a new vision for Clark County with area residents,” said Pike. “I grew up here and I love this community. However, we are at a fork in the road. We can continue to be a bedroom community to Portland or we can make Clark County the most job friendly place in the metropolitan area.
“We have all the ingredients to grow a world class economy and maintain our quality of life,’’ Pike added. “Let’s cut the red tape and work at the speed of business. Every citizen should have the opportunity to work where they live. This will be my top priority as your County Council Chair.”
Pike has asked that those who plan to attend the Oct. 12 event to RSVP via call or text (360) 281-8720 or email [email protected] by Oct. 11.
Pike says she brings the same passion, enthusiasm, work ethic and creative thinking that has made her a success in business, art and athletics to her community service for the people. She stated a belief in hard work and said she conducts herself with honesty and sincerity.
“Joining forces with citizens, she will focus her remarkable passion and energy to serve all of Clark County,’’ stated a press release announcing Thursday’s event.
