Small fire contained at PeaceHealth Southwest’s Memorial Campus

The building is safe, and Urgent care and Behavioral Health Services remain open for patients

VANCOUVER — Shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday, a small fire broke out in a supply room on the second floor of PeaceHealth Southwest’s Memorial campus located at 100 E. 33rd Main Street in Vancouver.

The building houses the Urgent Care Clinic on the first floor and Behavioral Health Services on the second floor.

No patients or caregivers were harmed by the contained fire. Ten patients located on the second floor have been relocated to the first floor while the lingering smell of smoke is mitigated.

The cause of the fire, likely electrical, will be determined and addressed upon completion of a thorough investigation.

The building is safe, and Urgent care and Behavioral Health Services remain open for patients.
